SN 1Z67L2S510165 Pewter silver over black leather, black top. 255-hp, 350-cubic-inch LT1 V-8; four-speed manual. Air-conditioning. Recent full restoration was well done but not overdone. Detailed under the hood but shows some use. Excellent brightwork. The fresh top has some fit issues. Clean and correct interior. In 1972,27,004 Corvettes were built, but just 6508 of them were convertibles. This car has both a four-speed and air-conditioning; it also has the rarest exterior color. It sold at a bit over market price but checks all the right boxes.


SN 1G1AY8789CS101397 Silver over red leather. 200-hp, 350-cubic-inch V-8; automatic. Original owner, garage kept, 4800 miles. Only routine service and wear items have been replaced. Factory paint with a few light scrapes in the front bumper. Excellent interior, although the console carpet has come loose and has a frayed edge.

The carpet will be an easy fix, and you can get your local automotive airbrush artist to fill in the scrapes on the bumper. It will drive like it's from the Jurassic age compared to a 2011 Vette, but this preserved Chevy is just about ready to show.


SN 194377S114785 Maroon over tan leather. 390-hp, 427-cubic-inch V-8; automatic. Factory options include bolt-on aluminum wheels, tinted glass, air-conditioning, power steering, power brakes, telescoping steering wheel, and headrests. Excellent paint was redone in 2008. Brightwork has some issues, including a scar on the front bumper and unpolished stainless pieces. The interior is nice but worn. This is just the wav to find a keeper. This car has had just one owner for more than twenty years. Despite the claim that it was restored recently, it looked like it had been fully restored at an earlier date and the paint was recently redone. The options are ultimately more important than
