Fords At Crail 2010

ur annual trip to Crail ■ ■ ■ is a hot date in many LJI Scottish Ford owners' diaries. Traditionally in late | September, (and somehow | always seeming to miss the raini u the Ford-themed day will mark j: many owners' last day out with ' their pride and joy before hiding it away from the winter weather and over-keen council gritters.

As ever for Crail at this time of year, it was necessary to > brace the chills, and lather on the sunblock in a vain attempt to stave oft the inevitable bright red 'Crail-face'!

in attendance was a £ mammolh selection of Focuses V with the Focus STOC taking v the best club stand award,

Drifting, show and shine action and more were the order of the day at Crail Raceway

John's Zetec turbe was going well!

along with a plentiful amount of Focus RSs on the strip too. Even Scotland's first Focus RS500 was on show, and had many admirers looking obviously tempted to cop a feel of its satin finish!

The next biggest crowd was the classic Ford faithful with the Capri Club Scotland notably putting on a quality display topped off by 'best Classic' award-winning Anna Grant and her drifting V8 Capri.

Of course we can't forget the mainstay of any fast Ford event, and that is the turbo squad. There were more than enough RS Turbos and Cossies in the showground and on the strip to please any boost addict. A top day out!
